Erection &
installation

Lyndon Steel is an industry leader in top-quality steel erection and installation. Our mission is to provide quality steel erection services for construction projects of all types that ensure long-lasting structural integrity.

From steel framing to installing various steel components, we work on highly complex steel erection and installation projects that are completed on time and adhere to the highest standards of excellence.

Project Management

Lyndon Steel Company is proud to offer a Project Management team that allows the customer to enjoy one dedicated contact, constant communication and overall coordination of the project.

Our team is comprised of experienced professionals that provide:

Overall coordination and responsibility of project
Primary contact for customer
Coordination of all deliveries
OSHA training
Onsite construction meetings
Responsibility for onsite personnel
Coordination of joist, deck and grating drawings and deliveries
LEED certified associates

Lyndon also has the ability to provide the customer with an on-site Project Manager. This person provides all the services listed above, but with the added benefit of personal, on-site contact during the steel erection portion of the project.

Engineering

Lyndon’s Engineering Department is managed by a licensed P.E. with over 30 years of experience in the industry. The department’s staff manage all shop drawing production and have BS/BA degrees in engineering or extensive experience in steel detailing. One dedicated in-house engineer is responsible for managing all connection design. This added layer of engineering management improves the customer service as well as the quality of the structural steel.

Our extensive experience in the industry allows us to work hand in hand with the Architect and Engineer of Record to assure structural integrity and project schedules are maintained. We offer our customer Value Engineering (VE), Design Assist and Design Build as the need arises. We work with our customer and other trades via the BIM process to ensure proper coordination. The Engineering Department also works hand in hand with the steel erector to assure safety and constructability are maintained.

Production

Lyndon Steel’s AISC Certified Production Department is committed to providing a quality product and on-time deliveries. Lyndon Steel employs Certified Welding Inspectors (CWI) and full-time Quality Control Inspectors in every shop and on each shift, who inspect our product at each stage of fabrication up to delivery. All welders are certified in accordance with the American Welding Society (AWS).

Our equipment includes CNC Drill/Saw lines, CNC Punch/Saw lines, CNC Plasma/Oxy Fuel Processor, CNC Angle/Plate Lines, 12-Wheel Blast Cabinet, Horizontal Milling machine all housed in over 250,000 square feet of fabrication area. Our ability to utilize downloads in our CNC equipment directly from detail drawings maximizes the accuracy in your fabricated products.
